The war for talent is no less real today than it was in 1998 when McKinsey first coined the term. Even with a surplus of people right now in the market finding talented people continues to challenge many organizations. Boomers are retiring (and more often ‘rewiring’) in increasing numbers with the potential to leave a talent and knowledge gap in some organizations.
